- What does Basic include?
- Basic is $4/month or $29/year. It includes everything in Free, removes CountdownShare branding from website embeds, hosted pages and email GIFs, and lets clicks go to your chosen URL. It uses the same Simple builder, inline embed and basic email GIF design as Free. Evergreen, analytics, custom CSS, brand assets, extra email designs and additional embed formats require Pro.
- Do monthly and yearly plans include the same features?
- Yes. Basic Monthly and Basic Yearly have identical features. Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly and Pro Lifetime have identical features. Annual billing saves $19 on Basic or $81 on Pro compared with twelve monthly payments. Pro Lifetime is $399 paid once.
- How does a countdown timer work inside an email?
- Email clients cannot run a live clock, so the timer is delivered as an animated image. CountdownShare hosts it and redraws it on every open, which means the time left is correct each time the message is viewed rather than fixed at the moment you sent it.
- Which email platforms does it work with?
- Any platform that lets you paste HTML or set a custom image source, which in practice is all of them — Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Brevo, SendGrid, GetResponse, MailerLite and Constant Contact included. Nothing is installed on their side.
- Which website builders does the embed work with?
- Any builder with an embed, code, or custom-HTML block: Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, Framer, Ghost, BigCommerce and more. There is no plugin and no build step.
- What does unlimited views mean?
- Every open of an email and every load of a page with your embed is a view. On PRO these are not capped, so a large send or a busy landing page will not stop the timer rendering.
- Can I change the design after a campaign has gone out?
- Yes. The image and the embed both render from our side, so changing the design or the deadline updates what recipients and visitors see without you re-sending the email or republishing the page.
- What is actually missing from the Free plan?
- Evergreen per-visitor timers and campaign analytics require Pro. The CountdownShare watermark stays on Free timers and embed clicks open our site rather than your link. The Advanced builder and custom CSS are preview-only, and there is no brand asset library. Free includes unlimited standard timers and views, every Simple-builder design, inline website embeds, basic animated email GIFs and shareable countdown pages.
- Are evergreen timers included in Free?
- No. Free and Basic do not include Evergreen. Evergreen timers for websites and email are included in Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly and Pro Lifetime. The option stays visible on Free, but creating an evergreen timer or changing its timing requires an upgrade. Existing published timers keep running after paid access ends.
- Are designs locked behind PRO?
- Not on the website side. The whole Simple builder is free: every theme, colour, font and background can be saved and published on Free. Two design-related things are paid — the Advanced builder, which is where custom layouts and custom CSS live, and the email GIF designs, where Free is fixed to the basic animated design in the light theme.
- Does Free expire? What happens if I cancel Pro?
- Free never expires. After your paid period ends, existing countdowns and embed designs keep working with CountdownShare branding. Creating or changing evergreen timing, analytics, brand assets, advanced designs and additional embed formats require Pro.
- Can I cancel a subscription?
- Yes. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep PRO access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
